Silvia Tapia Donoso is a clinical and educational psychologist, graduated from the University of Chile and trained in psychoanalysis. Born in Santiago de Chile, her work initially focused on psychological suffering in childhood, on the therapy of psychosis and the institutions that host them. Her initial training was marked by experiences at the Bonneuil Experimental School (2004, France), at Casa del Parque (2006), and work at the Pudahuel Day Hospital (2008). Spaces that gave rise to therapeutic work through materiality and creation, as ways of addressing psychological suffering. She has worked in schools, in health care centers, and recently in the area of mental health and interculturality at the CAPS of the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano (2022). She is currently dedicated to clinical work with people of all ages, and to teaching in the area of clinical psychology. Since 2022, she has been in constant contact with textile work, and the different possibilities that this material has in the therapeutic field, in community and collective spaces. Silvia likes to travel, go to museums, discover new places and experiences, and invent words.

Silvia Tapia Donoso es psicóloga clínica y educativa, egresada de la Universidad de Chile y formada en psicoanálisis. Nacida en Santiago de Chile, su trabajo se ha centrado inicialmente en el sufrimiento psicológico infantil, la terapia de la psicosis y las instituciones que la atienden. Su formación inicial estuvo marcada por experiencias en la Escuela Experimental Bonneuil (2004, Francia), en Casa del Parque (2006) y en el Hospital de Día Pudahuel (2008). Estos espacios propiciaron el trabajo terapéutico a través de la materialidad y la creación como formas de abordar el sufrimiento psicológico. Ha trabajado en escuelas, centros de salud y, recientemente, en el área de salud mental e interculturalidad en el CAPS de la Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano (2022). Actualmente se dedica al trabajo clínico con personas de todas las edades y a la docencia en el área de psicología clínica. Desde 2022, ha mantenido un contacto constante con el trabajo textil y las diversas posibilidades que este material ofrece en el ámbito terapéutico, en espacios comunitarios y colectivos. A Silvia le gusta viajar, ir a museos, descubrir nuevos lugares y experiencias, e inventar palabras.
