Miguel Ibarra studied graphic design after finishing high school to fulfill a necessity of expression. He likes to put his thoughts and feelings in images for the world to see, hoping that maybe someone might feel identified with some of his work. He studied the carrier on communications in the Universidad Salesiana de México where he got closer to other media, including filmmaking. In this institution, Miguel has developed both of his great passions when it comes to creativity and story telling: filmmaking and illustration. He creates comics and storyboards to better tell his stories. Much of his video work can be seen for free on his YouTube channel “Fotograma Video”. Now Miguel is focusing on using his talent for drawing on interpreting other artists stories through illustrating tales and other narrations. He created the cover illustration for Los fantasmas de la Casa Chesterton with Hilo Colectivo. In his free time, Miguel uses his sewing machine to make kilts, and if they are appealing, he also wears them.

Tras terminar la preparatoria, Miguel Ibarra estudió diseño gráfico para satisfacer su necesidad de expresión. Le gusta plasmar sus pensamientos y sentimientos en imágenes para que el mundo los vea, con la esperanza de que alguien se identifique con su trabajo. Estudió Comunicación en la Universidad Salesiana de México, donde se acercó a otros medios, incluyendo el cine. En esta institución, Miguel desarrolló sus dos grandes pasiones en cuanto a creatividad y narración: el cine y la ilustración. Crea cómics y storyboards para contar mejor sus historias. Gran parte de su trabajo en video se puede ver gratuitamente en su canal de YouTube “Fotograma Video”. Actualmente, Miguel se enfoca en usar su talento para el dibujo en la interpretación de historias de otros artistas a través de la ilustración de cuentos y otras narraciones. Ha realizado la ilustración de la portada de Los fantasmas de la Casa Chesterton con Hilo Colectivo. En su tiempo libre, Miguel usa su máquina de coser para confeccionar kilts, y si le gustan, también los usa.
